Work Health and Safety Policy Statement

Talent International and its officers recognise that the health and safety of all workers (including employees, volunteers and contractors) as well as clients, visitors and members of the public is of utmost importance and essential to our long term success.

Talent International aims to continuously improve work health and safety in the workplace through consultation,implementation of policies, procedures, safe work practices and an increased health and safety awareness of management and workers.

We recognise that we share a primary duty of care with other duty holders in regards to our workers and are committed to consult, cooperate and coordinate with all other persons who havea duty to ensure the required health and safety outcomes.

Management will:

  • Ensure the business complies with all legislation relating to health and safety;
  • Eliminate or minimise all workplace hazards and risks as far as is reasonably practicable;
  • Provide information,instruction and training to enable all workers to work safely;
  • Supervise workers to ensure work activities are performed safely;
  • Consult with and involve workers on matters relating to health, safety and wellbeing;
  • Provide appropriate safety equipment and personal protective equipment;
  • Provide a suitable injury management and return to work program

Workers will:

  • Take reasonable care for their own health and safety;
  • Take reasonable care that their acts do not adversely affect the health and safety of others;
  • Follow safe work procedures,instructions and rules;
  • Participate in safety training;
  • Report health and safety hazards;
  • Report all injuries and incidents;
  • Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment as instructed

Our aim is to implement a preventative health and safety management system, including the development ofa systemic risk assessment and control of hazards in order to provide a safe and healthy work environment across all areas of the organisation.
